The 7th and 8th grade Maroon teams will be traveling to Gillette this Saturday, 2/8/14, for a tournament.
Both teams will play three games. As with any tournament, the brackets are still a bit in flux. Currently, the 7th grade will play all three of their games at Sage Valley Junior High . 7th grade games are scheduled to begin at 9:15, 10:30, and 2:15. The 8th grade team will be more mobile. Their first game begins at 9:30 at Twin Spruce Junior High. They move to St. Matthew's Church for their 12:30 game and are back at Twin Spruce for the 3:30 tilt. Both teams will head home together after the 8th grade team's last game. If the bracket changes there may be adjustments to this schedule. Your student's coach will have the most up to date info.
Sturgis Quad
The event on 2/22/14 listed as the Sturgis Quad on the boys basketball schedule will actually be a triangular with Sturgis and Douglas for the 7th and 8th grade White teams. Our game schedule is:
- 8:30 7 Spearfish vs 7 Sturgis
- 9:45 8 Spearfish vs 8 Sturgis
- 11:00 7 Spearfish vs 7 Douglas
- 12:15 8 Spearfish vs 8 Douglas
The bus will leave at 7:30 am and both teams will return after the conclusion of the 12:15 8th grade game vs. Douglas.
