SMS Concession Opportunities

The middle school concession stand schedule for the Queen City Classic is below. The dates are 3/28, 3/29, and 3/30. If there are games you'd like to watch, but would like to help when they are not happening, the brackets can be found at 2014 Queen City Brackets.

Please let me know what shift(s) you are available to help out. This is the major fund raiser that allows us to have the end of the year banquet for all SMS students that participated in activities and their families.

Also we still need volunteers for this Saturday 2/22 from 8-11 and 11-1.

Track Informational Meeting

The informational meeting for the 2014 track season will be held Monday night at 5:30 in the Spearfish Middle School gym. Track is open to any interested 7th and 8th grade students. All students participating in track and their families should attend. At this meeting students and families will receive their schedules and other important information from the track coaches.

Track practice begins on Monday after school. Students must have a physical on file in office in order to practice. Students only need to have one physical per year. The ImPact test for concussions is not required to run track. Track practice generally occurs every day (except Wednesdays) after school. In the event of inclement weather, track practice will be held in the gym and multipurpose room.

Activity Update

Track Practice and Meeting

Track practice begins after school on Monday, March 10th. The track parent meeting will be held after practice at 5:30 in the middle school gym. All students participating in track and their families should attend. Participation in track is open to all interested 7th and 8th grade students. Students must have a physical on file in the office before they can practice or compete.
